Tirumala Trip

Last weekend had been to Tirumala. Being the shravana month, and marriage season, It became very huge crowded. Everywhere you go, you see, So many marriages happening. I at least saw around 50 couples myself when waiting there to see God.

Few tips if you are planning to do a trip of Tirupathi on a crowded weekend, and have no darshan tickets .

a. Please plan to reach Tirumala on the morning by 4.00 am itself. The Daily special darshan tickets are given at 4 am onwards.

b. If 4 am is early and you think You can spend a day then be available at seva counter by 7.00 am. You can get seva tickets for the next day. ( I heard from my friends that sometimes it possible to get seva tickets for the same day as well .. It depends on luck and the tickets are limited number, if available you can avail it )

c. If you have a child below one year, then you would be given free Darshan (before 11 am preferable), you can join the seva queue directly.

d. If you are newly wed couple, ( Then you have to go there with the wedding dress, then you would be allowed and you can take 4 more along with you )..

e. If you are in defence or Senior citizen, then also you can go through seva queue for free.

Myself and my daughter had Tonsure our heads, Please carry own blade if you plan to do so. The free blade does not work smoothly.
