Sunday Funday

Today is day of research on i-net. First i found something which can solve my focus problem in my camera, :) there are few things which i always thought why it was like it. I have previously used a Yashica camera of my uncle at college time, it was a film SLR, I used to get better pictures, there use to be a prism, once the focus is all right you would see the clearer image on the viewfinder, or else you can be sure tat the image is not going to be fine. That is one of the reason in the Film SLR camera you won't find too much out of focus pictures. In a D-SLR camera's especially the Nikon D40, they have made the auto focus function in the lens, They claim the D-SLR to be cheap, but the camera lens are very costly. :-( thanks to the Focus motor in the Lens, which makes every lens costly. :-( I have a sigma 70-300 Lens which i had to use in manual mode. :( but i was not able to take sharper picture. :( .. the Nikkor 70-300 is three times as costly as the sigma lens. :-( thanks to the focus motor in the lens... Finally the solution to all manual lens is found in the form of the KATZ custom focus screen. . But i tried asking ppl who are into photography about this, could not get any help. So tomorrow need to check with the Nikon Users abt this.

Next i was watching the Light painting, i think it was the going through the snaps of the ADY ( Framed ) ..  well i found his bullet being light painted. :) on further going he said its difficult and put it in the blog. Well did not find how to, so just did bit of research over it. :) woow found a flicker set who had done so much - light doodles awesome. I really liked it and tried :) but i think i need two things.. tripod and a person who draws well. :).. The everready battery ad is also of the same type.

Then in the evening visited the Kanteerva stadium exhibition, all furnitures stuff, and bought a foot pump for the Trip. Saturday went to JC Road and bought Bungee chords, balaclava, and looked for the water proof riding pants. :) I suppose it does not rain in the time when touring Kashmir. Well finally thought to take venkat as pillion if he does gets his holidays. :-) .. Or else I am on my own. :-) .. I was browsing through the flickr searching for images, so that i do get the mental picture of the complete Kashmir Valley. :-), from Gulmarg to sonamarg. :) from Drass --> Kargil to Leh --> leh --> Manali :-)... woow to make some on to come along, just one need to do a tag search in the Flickr, no one can resist to travel to the Valley. :-)
