Monday blues

:) Monday morning, after the sprint completion is the day of retrospection of the previous sprint. Last sprint I had been to a training, so used the Time line method to get back the events and the emotions on the past three weeks. All ended well. After the meeting the Product owner was asked to give his feedback. then came the news. From now on the Product Owners who as of now are line managers will we Scrum masters as well. Somehow they felt that the agile was not working well in the team. The management felt that its illusive control over team was lost. The program management felt Agile means less work is being done by the people. They came up with the reasons like they don't know the cost of the product. I don't know I somehow felt bad, for the simple reasons that the upper managements never like the changes, The adapt to the new way of working where the team is responsible, no one is comfortable to the change. Its just that insecurity, and illusive control over teams make them take such decisions. Its been told to teams that From today ur scrum master is ur Line manager. He will take care that you people do more work. In the name of constructions of teams they are destroying teams, increasing competitions among people in team, which is not so healthy and bad at long run. :) I simply felt these people never trusted us, and just to achieve the objectives these had been done.

I am feeling bad, but didn't want this feel to transmit in my team. I know all from top have blind eyes and deaf ears, wish these actions don't kill the spirit of the teams.
