Innovation meetings

Today attended a IPR meeting. There few things were spoken about, What is innovation, how its different from IPR (Intellectual property right). What is IPR, Whats Copyright, whats trade mark. How patent works, what can be patented and what can't be patented.

To tell frankly I was against IPR's.
some time back i had gone through this link which made me feel i should be against it, as I felt its like granting monopoly to the person who has power of money. Its un-ethical to me. :)
