Raising the living conditions of people in valley
Was watching one of the news channels, which talked about the Life of people in the valley(be it North east, be it Kashmir). What has been done with their lives, Are they living the same way as we in urban India live. The Army presence has not done good for the last 40 years. Then comes a Ex-BSF chief, He tell that our jawans had been doing the toughest jobs. 1000 of our jawans are killed for the protecting the country, so the enemies of the country should be punished.
Which raised few thoughts in my mind, Does it mean that even after 100 years we will be just thinking of safeguarding the country and killing lifes. The Life or infrastructure to the people of the valley is miserable. Even the countries like Canada, where there are very few people the basic infrastructure is provided to the people. But we highly neglect the fact that we do nothing to raise the conditions of life. Comparing china which has build the highest road in world and is keeping it open round the year. That is one thing which is going to raise the life conditions of people. As roads are the lifelines of people. easy access to valley is going to make things better.
