Butterfly or Moth
Yesterday i was watching a program on the Discovery, Its about the Insects, ( Butterfly, Ants etc. ). Let me tell you what i absorbed, Its program of how Larva survives, how larva hunts the spider. A larva once gets hold of the spider, it starts eating it s fluid, which is responsible for the web. This larva sucks out the fluid from the spider and manipulates it to weave a special web for it ( Link). The spider unknowing of why this happens has a slow death as for its survival the larva had suck all its fluid. Then the larva makes its safe inside the cocoon. If you think its success of the larva yes, but let me tell you what had happened after that. The some cocoons insects, moths come and lay their eggs over the cocoons. This eggs are injected on the cocoons, what happens is the larva becomes the food for these injected eggs and the outcome is a other moth. Strange, In the video he showed all the three types, undisturbed cocoon becomes a beautiful blue butterfly, one with injected eggs becomes a moth and other are eaten by other animals.
Let me tell you what i could relate and made it interesting. All people are Running for survival in life, Some are real blue butterfly who get everything right at the correct time, they had their food, they were secured, and were not disturbed and out come they came out successfully. Some are infected, which makes them transform into a different kind altogether, and are few who loose out with no faults of theirs. In Hindu methodology it called Karma, It depends on what good you have done in past. Well I believe the faith on reincarnation has made this country see many great saints. Ex. Ashoka, ( who was called Chandaal Ashoka , and he became Samrath Ashoka ) all due to his fear of reincarnation. Ashoka had all the success in his life, He had all wars won, he had no one to defeat, but he had no Happiness, His success was real only when he had reached the hearts of Good people, by doing things in a good way. According to me Success is sweet only when it brings joy, smile and happiness among people around.
These days success is measured in a company by the agression people show in the way they work, or show off there skills, by grabbing the piece from one to give to other, There are some cry babies who make it worst by always crying to the top of their tone to be recognized. Nasty corporate cultures. :-) ..
Today i am writing all these as i happen to see some mails regarding Ratings and Success measure mails etc., and some how i felt both nature and this are very relevant. People inject eggs into the mind of beautiful people who instead of being a beautiful butterfly end up being Moth and start infecting other Beautiful Butterflys around, spreading what made them do it. Strange.... :).
No other reasons triggered these thoughts. if so then its a mere co-incidence.
